Eyeliner is the thing that makes the biggest difference for me, and it’s the thing I find the absolute hardest to do. I’m not a gifted makeup artist, so I always struggle to get the stuff where I want it, and then to make it match the other eye. I’m always looking for something to make the process easier.
I’ve been needing to buy new makeup brushes, and trying to do it on a budget. I found the E.L.F. line of brushes at Target and when I saw their eyeliner brush I was totally intrigued. One try and I realized why it’s been so hard for me to put on my eyeliner – because the brushes weren’t built for self application! Makeup brushes are built like paint brushes, which are great when you’re using them on a canvas in front of you, but not so much when you are the canvas and need to do precision work. The bent head of this brush is a genius move. Now I can comfortably rest my hand on my cheek to steady myself while getting the brush exactly where it needs to be. It’s amazing. And $2. I really don’t know how it can get any better.
THAT is an awesome brush!
Wait, is it just a brush or does it come with the actual liquid in it? Regardless, I might have to try it out. Eyeliner is definitely my "thing," too, since I don't wear mascara. And it's awesome to hear that E.L.F. has a good product. I'm trying to stay away from makeup and personal hygiene products that come from companies that test on animals, and E.L.F. is one that stays free of that. (I've managed to switch over all of my makeup products — except eyeliner — to those that are cruelty-free. It's been hard work.) Thanks for the info!
It's just the brush. For $2 I can't have everything I want! 😉
