Shutterfly Giveaway!

Every year, the week after Christmas, when I’m still feeling full of Christmas spirit but all the items on my todo list have been done, I take advantage of clearance sales and make handmade Christmas cards to be packed away for the coming year. When I did that last time, it wasn’t fun. I felt like more of a Grinch with every card I glittered and vowed that this would be the last year.

It’s not just the amount of work (when have I ever shied away from work?), and it’s not just the cost (although, yes.), it’s that every time I opened an envelope sent from a loved one, I saw cuter and cuter printed cards. Gone are the days when a lame grocery store photo postcard was your best option. Now, even though it pains me to say it, printing companies are making cuter cards than I do.

I got an email from my friends at Shutterfly a little while ago inviting me to look at their holiday cards, and it only cemented that decision. They’ve worked with fantastic designers to come up with a collection of card options that are modern and gorgeous and there are hundreds and hundreds of options to make sure that you won’t send out the same card as your neighbors.

This was my favorite Christmas card, but I admit that I had to stop myself from looking after the first page. I loved so many of them that I was sorely tempted to just throw out the cards I made last year and start over.

Check out their card selection here.

My favorite part of Shutterfly is their photo books and gifts. I just made a photo book and paid for it with my own actual money that I’ll be showing you in the next little while. They have a great selection of gifts, and they are total grandparent catnip. Check the gifts out here, and the photo books out here.

Shutterfly has generously given me a few card packages to give away to my readers. 3 Readers will each win 25 free cards from Shutterfly! To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment.

On top of that, I also have a set of 50 free cards with free shipping included! To enter to win that, you just have to friend my page on facebook here. I’ll select from my facebook friends and one of them will get enough cards for their entire Christmas list, and get them sent to them for free too!

I’ll just sit here pining away for the beautiful design and dream of next year when I get to save myself a whole lot of trouble.

*Disclaimer* I was not compensated for my opinions and those are, and always are, my own. I’m not getting anything for this post because I’m giving it all away to my readers. But I do like Shutterfly enough to be a customer myself, in the past and in the future.

Time to Announce the Winners!
The winner of the Facebook page was Rosemary Simiele Kirkham – who gets 50 cards and free shipping!

The three winners of 25 cards each are, as chosen by random number generator, comments #1, #8, and #16

Which is EmiG, Valerie, and Donna!

Congratulations everybody! Thanks for joining in. And winners, if you don’t hear from me today then drop me a line to claim your prize!
