One of the best parts of living in Modesto – the produce. I drove to a local tomato distributor and for $70 I bought 250 lbs of tomatoes. Last year was a marinara year, this year it’s all about salsa. My salsa is so fantastic that Bear ate everything I made last year in a week. This year, it should at least last a month.
I tend to get a bit grandiose in my plans so as I was planning how much to buy I called Bear to make sure I wasn’t being unreasonable. He told me to get more. He’s been waiting for this all year long.
